POLINOX® mounted flap wheels are made of non-woven polyamide abrasive, into which abrasive grain is integrated. The non-woven abrasive material is arranged in multiple (axial) disc layers. Since the individual non-woven discs are not interconnected, the abrasive surface adapts easily to different workpiece contours, e.g. when working on profiles or pipes.
